A Break in the Clouds

Wanting to get back into Illustrator and have a little fun, I came up with this little bit of inspiration to share – simple and straight to the point, I think. And moving forward I’d like to spend some more time creating small works like this just for fun. After all, sometimes less is more.

A Solitary Beach

This time around another illustration – A Solitary Beach is meant to showcase the use of unified gradients within Illustrator. In this design the gradients on the stones as well as the clouds encompass all instances of these objects as they transition in color from either direction. Also, other standard gradients are used to form the beach, sky and water for this illustration.

New Adventure

New Adventure is an illustration that hopefully inspires a sense of exactly that, seeking out a new adventure or challenge. My latest challenge, well creating this illustration of course as this stuff is a lot of work. And my new challenge, continuing to create more illustrations. In all seriousness though, hopefully you will always look forward to the next new adventure.

Xbox 360 Illustration

This is something that I worked on as a school project well over a year ago and just happen to come by as I was browsing through some of my past work. This was done predominantly in Illustrator with a few visual tweaks added via Photoshop. This was originally done as a 11×17 poster for print and looks good on screen as well.
