Through the Park

Through the Park is based off a shot of the Chicago skyline I took while walking through Burnham Park near Soldiers Field. Some various filter effects and smoothing techniques help in piecing together this stylistic view of the park and skyline.

Chicago Skyline Stylization

The Chicago Skyline Stylization was essentially a stab in the dark, as this just sort of happened from playing in Photoshop. The right mix of filters, add some layer blending, then some brush work, and the result presents itself. I actually did this a while back and never posted it, but it is here now for your viewing pleasure.

The Lakefront Beach

The Lakefront Beach was composed from an image I took a few months back while in Chicago and I decided to have a little fun with it. Photoshop was my friend here once again and the final product turned out interesting enough to mention here, I think. As sometimes you just never know when inspiration will strike you and what you may end up with after it does.
