Edguy In Concert

So have you heard of a band from Germany know as Edguy? If not, you have been missing out on some great metal/rock music. A friend and I caught one of there shows at a local venue called the Pearl Room, and they played just an awesome set. They are definitely an energetic band as they involve the crowd fully every step of the way.

We have both been listening to Edguy for a couple years now and they have a great metal sound with the vocal talent to back it up. So if you have not heard of them, you may just want to check them out if this genre of music suites you.

I snapped a quick picture, albeit a bad one (camera phone), so check that out as well.

Oh, and an honorable mention from the evening would be Echoes of Eternity. Their debut album ‘The Forgotten Goddess‘ is definitely worth checking out. This self-described “aggressive metal” band has a great sound and a strong lead vocalist, so do check out their music.

I love Edguy. I saw them with Dendura and Echoes of Eternity was supposed to be on that bill, but they had to cancel some dates. Hope to catch Echoes next time though.

Silver, that sucks you weren’t able to catch Echoes, but if you get a chance be sure to take in one of their sets. They definitely have a powerful sound with very melodic vocals.
