Makeshift HDR Images

I created a couple of makeshift HDR images in Photoshop to test out some concepts I had come across for simply using a single JPEG image as the source for the compositions.
Overall, I think the results I have come up with here are decent though the source images were very limiting as to their color levels and overall quality. Not true HDR images, but something with a bit more color range as well as stronger contrast, as was the goal here and done just for fun!

Obviously, these are not true HDR images (there not meant to be), as much as a stylization of the images to represent greater range of color/contrast. And my intent here was to simply try something different, so what do you think? Good, bad, never do this again!

I like both of these, especially the colors (contrast) of the flowers.
The Indy picture makes you believe that you could just “step right in” just ready for the action to begin. I’d certainly say good job keep doing!
