star_trekXI_posterApparently it was confirmed a few days ago that J.J. Abrams will in fact be directing the upcoming Star Trek XI film. I for one find this to be good news as I feel Star Trek is ready to return to the main stream media yet again. There are few detail about the upcoming film, but supposedly the script takes place before the events of the original series and introduces us to a young Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock. With Abrams at the helm I think we should be in store for a rebirth, so to speak, of the Star Trek franchise. And I for one am looking forward to it as are many other trekkies no doubt.

I was going through some old photographs I had taken and came across one of my favorites that I had essentially forgotten about. This photo was taken in June of 2004 and even I was surprised by how well it turned out. I figured I would frame it all nice and put it out there for everyone to enjoy. And this is probably as close to a some what professional shot as I will come…

I recently came across the international trailer for Live Free or Die Hard, the forth installment of the Die Hard franchise. I had recently posted the teaser trailer that was released here in the states, but figured I would share this one as well given it adds a bit more footage and of course more action. If you think about it, can there really ever be too much action in a Die Hard movie?

I had previously posted a Force Power Pre-Vis demo with relation to the now officially announced Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game for the PS2, PS3, and Xbox360. There have been a couple new tech demo videos released recently so I figured I would share those here as well.

The demos cover some of the enhanced features of the game that will be realized via the new Digital Molecular Matter and euphoria technologies. These technologies will also be utilized in the upcoming Indiana Jones game for the next-gen consoles. Needless to say these new technologies will make for some never before seen gaming experiences.
