Microsoft has been literally “bringing it home” with a lot of new content this past week on the Live marketplace. If you have not been keeping up there are oh about 70 plus downloads waiting for you via Live for you to checkout. In seeing all of the trailers and even checking out some of the latest demos I just have to say that I am completely looking forward to the Holiday season and beyond with regards to the amazing line-up of games that will be coming to the 360 over the coming months. Some of my favorites thus far being, Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Call of Duty 3, Lost Planet, Mass Effect, Splinter Cell: Double Agent and the list could go on and on.
Right now I have pre-orders on many of these games and waiting is always the worst part. Never the less they will be here soon and that is really all that matters. I just wanted to give a shout out to the Xbox team and all the developers out there who are “bringing home” the content for all us who wait feverishly for the next new demo, trailer, theme, etc. to make its way to the marketplace. I remember thinking when I first heard about the 360 having this so called Live marketplace that it was something I would never care to use as all I wanted was to simply be able to play some really cool games and now I think I can officially say I was oh so wrong to have ever thought this way.
With the Tokyo Game Show and the X06 festivities over the past few weeks it is easy to see that it’s a great time to be a gamer. And Microsoft is indeed on the right path by showing us the latest next-gen gaming content thanks to the Live marketplace.
