Next-Gen Console Wars

There is no doubt that the next-gen console wars are coming ever closer to fruition. With the upcoming releases of the Sony Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and the already released Microsoft Xbox 360 - there is little doubt of the competition that lies ahead for the console gaming genre. All three of the major players are bringing innovation, increased interaction, and immersive gaming experiences to the table and needless to say the gamers will be the ones to reap the rewards of said efforts. When it comes right down to it, the competition between these systems will mean more powerful hardware, innovative user features and overall better gaming experiences.
There are numerous sources of information with regards to the next-gen consoles to be found all over the internet and while everyone may have their favorite new system, the fact remains that it is a great time to be a gamer. No matter the system (’s) you may choose to support there is little doubt that this console cycle will be one of the very best ever!
There is an interesting article I read today…Next-Gen Consoles: A Numbers Game…that I wanted to share as it offers some interesting insight into what in fact may decide the overall winner of the battle ahead. Just keep in mind that the real winners will be us gamers as the industry is ready and willing to take gaming to a whole new level.
