Spike TV Brings Blade: The Series

Well I had not heard anything about Blade: The Series before now, but according to MovieWeb it is coming in July to a TV screen near you!
Blade: The Series Begins Production
Production on Spike TV’s first original scripted offering Blade: The Series has begun this week in Vancouver, Canada. New Line Television will produce 11, one-hour episodes of the weekly action-adventure series which premieres on Spike TV starting Wednesday, July, 5, following the previously announced two-hour kick-off episode that premieres on June 28.

This All of PS3 Flickr photo album has numerous pics from the GDC and is definitely worth a look. There are game photos as well as ones from presentations which spill some of the beans with regards to what the PS3 will offer in terms of hardware and software. No Downsampling of High Def DVD’s

I have come across a couple of articles stating that neither the Blu-ray or HD-DVD players will downsample the video quality of high def DVD�s for those that either don’t have or choose not to use HDMI inputs for connecting these players. This is good news as component video cables are more than capable of offering the full range of HD resolutions. In addition component video switches are much cheaper to purchase if you have limited inputs on your television.

GameTrailers.com has a video montage of the first titles scheduled to be released for the PS3. I must say the games do look impressive, but I think some of the footage may be prerendered cutscenes for these titles. Still worth a look for sure!
