Sony PS3 Launch Delay - Maybe!

There have been some rumblings around the good ole’ internet over the past week that the PS3 may in fact be delayed, resulting from a potential lack of essential components by third party suppliers to assemble the device. This simply means that any delay of components from these suppliers could in fact push the release date for the system back. I personally would rather see the system delayed and made available when quantities are high and for Sony to avoid the whole rush the system to market deal all together. Here’s hoping that the system will be released when it is ready and not released just to get the system to market no matter the supply or whether it has been thoroughly tested. Come on Sony - give us the real story!

HD-disc Rules - Not Good For Some

It seems that on the horizon of High Definition DVD releases, both new technologies (Blu-ray and HD-DVD) will not be able to play at full HD resolutions through component video connections. Essentially a fully digital connection such HDMI or DVI will be required to take advantage of full HD signals from the first of the high definition DVD players. Checkout the info -
