doomWell, we’ve finally seen the long awaited movie of one of our favorite video games and we were not disappointed. One of the main reasons I was so happy with the movie was that they pulled no punches in terms of violence, gore, or language, THANK GOD!!! The blood wasn’t flowing every 3 seconds, but when it did flow, man was it cool! I’d rather had quality over quantity. The FPS sequence was incredible - we had a theater of Doom freaks who were cheering and hooting like crazy - it was such an adrenaline rush! Honestly, it’s one of the coolest sequences you’ll ever see in a movie, especially for game fans. Not giving anything away, but the end fight was amazing too! I look forward to getting the DVD and seeing how much work went into all of it. I really liked the cast as well, and of course The Rock & Karl Urban stole the show.
All in all, the movie really was made for the fans, and that rocks.
